Article summary

Overview

Under the Accountant role, you will receive an email letting you know that you have access to Client Onboarder. Click the link in the email to access Client Onboarder, click the Sign In button, then click Sign up now and follow the prompts. Once successfully logged into Client Onboarder, you will enter information for pages Accountant, Sites, Personnel, and Exiting MSP, and then acknowledge your changes on the Approval page.

Accountant

The mandatory fields on this page - First Name, Last Name, and Email - will have already been populated when the client record was created. The other information - Work Phone, Work Ext, Mobile Phone and Notes don't have to be entered but would be useful for managing your services.

Once done with the Accountant page, click the green Next button towards the bottom of the page to move on to the next page.

Sites

Enter site information for all of your locations.

Manual site entry

To enter sites manually, click the + Add button and begin entering information into the spreadsheet. Once done, click Update to accept changes, or click Next to accept changes and move on to the next page.

Import

In cases where there is a large number of sites it may be more efficient to use the import feature. To import sites:

  1. Click the Import button in the upper right corner to open the Import dialog window.

  2. Click the Download Template button to download an Excel template file which includes column header names, and create an import file based on the template.

  3. Click the Browse button and select the newly created import file.

  4. Click the green Import button in the lower right corner. When asked to confirm, click OK. The Import dialog window will close and sites will be imported.

  5. Click Next to move on to the next page.

Personnel

Enter employee information. As is the case for the Sites page, personnel information can be entered manually or via import.

Exiting MSP

As stated as guidance, "Managed Service Provider. This would be the contact our IT will work with to transition your services over to ours." This contact will receive an email notification that they have access to Client Onboarder and can begin entering data.

Mandatory fields are First Name, Last Name, and Email.

Approval

Once all mandatory information is entered, click the acknowledge & approve button on the Approval page*.

Click Return to return to the Client landing page.

The Accountant progress tile shows 100% percent complete, and status is Awaiting Approval.

At this time you may log out and wait to get an email notifying you that either your data is approved, or something needs to be addressed.

(*Note!: Until data is acknowledged, no email notifications will go out alerting the onboarding engineer that you are finished and that your data is ready to be reviewed)
