Question: What do the stars mean?

Answer: A red star indicates if a field is required before the page can be saved. A blue star indicates if a field is required before the section can be reviewed for signoff.

Question: How do I know if I've completed the required data for a page?

Answer: You can look for a star present on the page to indicate incomplete data. You can also look at the links in navigation bar for stars that would indicate incomplete data for the page.

Question: Are there reminders generated if there is a lapse in use by the user assigned to enter data for the current step before approval can be requested?

Answer: Yes.

  • After 48hrs of inactivity for the Sales Rep section an email is sent to Sales Reps as a reminder.

  • After 48hrs of inactivity for the Accountant section an email is sent to the Accountant as a reminder.

  • After 48hrs of inactivity for the MSP section an mail is sent to the MSP as a reminder. However, if the current MSP does not wish to use Client Onboarder and an internal Client Onboarder team member (onboarding engineer, admin, etc.) from the new MSP does their data entry for them and acknowledges, no email is sent and no review is required; the data is automatically approved.

Question: Are there reminders generated if a section is awaiting review?

Answer: Yes.

  • After 48hrs of inactivity for the Sales Rep section review an email is sent to the Managers as a reminder.

  • After 48hrs of inactivity for Accounting or MSP section review an email is sent to Onboarding Engineers as a reminder.

Question: Are there reminders/warnings generated for automatic record deletion due to the retention period?

Answer: Yes. There is a reminder email that goes out to all managers when a record will be permanently deleted in 10, 5 & 1 day(s).
